Vickywood CUMARU EASE 135 vs Vickywood CUMARU UP 145
Both of these are Vickywood tents, so the question is not which brand to trust but which size and configuration suits your vehicle and how you camp. The CUMARU EASE 135 and the CUMARU UP 145 share Vickywood's construction and warranty; where they part company is in the numbers below.
The CUMARU EASE 135 is 8 kg lighter at 69 kg against 77 kg, which on a factory roof rated for 68 to 75 kg is often the difference between a legal fit and a rack upgrade. Floor area is close to identical at 2.6 m² and 2.77 m², so neither wins on sleeping room. Headroom separates them further: 145 cm in the CUMARU EASE 135 against 130 cm, which is the difference between sitting up to dress and doing it lying down. The CUMARU EASE 135 lists $324 lower, at $2,905 against $3,229.
The CUMARU EASE 135 uses aluminum 6 Series; the CUMARU UP 145 uses aluminum with aluminum honeycomb base. Canvas differs too: recycled 320 g/m2 ripstop polyester, PU-coated; rainfly 420D Oxford polyester, 5,000 mm water column, UV 50+ against 320 g/m2 ripstop polyester, 3,000 mm water column.
